Product description
- Unique construction allows for effective edge deburring and finishing
- The hard density offers good edge retention, which maintains consistent shape and cutting power
- Soft density offers deformability and flexibility for finishing flat or irregular surfaces without damaging the workpiece
- Open-web construction with uniform grain distribution and consistent cutting force
- 3M Roloc fastening system offers quick and easy disc changes
Scotch-Brite Roloc Unitised Disc XL-DR is strong and effective for deburring and finishing. Our wheel performs well on a variety of metals in different applications where close tolerances are important.
Scotch-Brite Roloc EXL unitised wheels perform well on a variety of metalworking applications and on milled parts with tight tolerances. Use our wheels for professional results when polishing welds, deburring aircraft parts or blending and finishing various metals, plastics and composites. The wheels are available in different coarsenesses, from fine to medium and coarse. They are made of high-density EXL material. This provides a hard structure and aggressive cutting power, making them great for deburring edges and corners without damaging the part. Lower-density versions are soft and deformable, making them suitable for finishing curved surfaces. Discs with the Roloc quick-change system can be quickly and easily attached to a Roloc disc pad*. This allows you to easily switch between different tasks or steps in a finishing process. The Roloc system provides a secure attachment even in heavy-duty applications, and the wide range of 3M Roloc discs allows the user to change discs - and applications - in seconds. The discs allow you to use both the edge and surface of the wheel without the fastening mechanism getting in the way. Scotch-Brite's surface finishing products consist of an abrasive material in non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. Combining abrasive minerals with fibres creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the life of the product. The open web structure of the material ensures a lower operating temperature and less risk of discolouration and deformation of parts. The fibres do not fill up easily and ensure the powerful performance of the mineral abrasive by preventing fibre flooding. This also extends the life of the disc.
